G2 MONOCHROME: AT THE HEART OF ITS CRAFTSMANSHIP

G2 MONOCHROME: AT THE HEART OF ITS CRAFTSMANSHIP

To celebrate its anniversary, Spring Court marks 90 years of craftsmanship through a collaboration with three icons of contemporary dance: Josephine Ann Endicott, Elisabeth Clarke and Lutz Förster.

Conceived around movement, time and the “privilege of age,” the G2 Monochrome embodies a meeting point between craftsmanship, sustainability and freedom of expression. Made in Spain, this edition stands out for its OEKO-TEX certified cotton piqué, tonal sole and red logo specially created to celebrate the house’s 90th anniversary.

Rubber Dyeing and Preparation

The rubber is carefully pigmented and blended to achieve a monochrome color directly infused into the material itself. An essential step that ensures consistency, durability and depth of color.

Manual Assembly of the Upper and Components

Each element of the shoe is carefully prepared and assembled by hand. The canvas, reinforcements and various components are put together before the vulcanization stage, in keeping with true artisanal craftsmanship.

Direct Process Vulcanization

The shoe is then placed into a heated mold. Through the combined effect of heat and pressure, the rubber vulcanizes directly around the upper, creating a natural bond between the different elements. This direct vulcanization process enhances the pair’s strength, flexibility and durability.

Finishing Touches and Quality Control

A silhouette designed to last
